Privacy Policy

August 26, 2026

1. Who is responsible

Inkybard is operated by Tiago Bernardon in Brazil. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact privacy@inkybard.com.

2. Information we process

We process only information reasonably needed to provide and protect the service. This includes:

  • Account information, such as your email address, optional display name, language, and account plan.
  • Your optional Founder interest registration, including account email, language, source, and consent date.
  • Content you choose to create, including campaigns, sessions, entities, notes, tags, custom attributes, relationships, and media references.
  • Technical and security information ordinarily generated when an online service is used, such as IP address, browser or device information, access times, authentication records, and error or abuse-prevention records.
  • Messages you send when requesting support, exercising privacy rights, or reporting a problem.

3. How and why we use information

  • Provide authentication, save and synchronize your content, and operate requested features.
  • When you request it, send one email about the opening of Founder sales; this registration does not subscribe you to a newsletter or recurring messages.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and enforce these Terms.
  • Respond to support and privacy requests and send essential service messages.
  • Meet legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
  • Improve reliability and usability using limited operational information.

4. Legal grounds

Depending on your location and the context, processing is based on performance of our agreement with you, legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where the law requires it. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

5. Your campaign content

Your account content is private by default. You control what you enter and must avoid adding personal, confidential, or sensitive information about other people unless you have a lawful reason and any required permission.

Inkybard does not claim ownership of your campaign content. We process it only as needed to host, display, synchronize, secure, back up, and provide the features you request.

6. Player sharing

Sharing is optional. When you create a player link, anyone who obtains that link may access the shared campaign view until you revoke or replace it. Shared sessions are included in that view. Entity profiles marked as GM secrets and relationships involving them are excluded, but names or details written directly in session text may still appear.

Review content before sharing, distribute links only to intended recipients, and revoke a link if it is exposed. Recipients may copy information they can view; revocation cannot remove copies already made outside Inkybard.

7. Service providers and international processing

We use specialized providers for infrastructure, data hosting, authentication, transactional email, font delivery, and related operational services. They process limited information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms. Information may be processed in countries other than yours, subject to contractual or legal safeguards where required.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell personal information.

8. Cookies and local storage

Inkybard uses essential authentication technologies and local browser storage needed to keep you signed in, remember language and tour preferences, and maintain the demo state for the current tab. These technologies are necessary for requested functionality.

We currently do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or optional analytics. If that changes, this Policy and any consent controls required by law will be updated before such technologies are enabled.

9. Retention and deletion

We generally retain account information, user content, and a Founder interest registration while your account is active or until the requested notification is sent or the registration is no longer needed. You may request deletion at privacy@inkybard.com. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.

After deletion, limited records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or backup rotation. They will remain protected and will not be used for unrelated purposes.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that loss, misuse, or unauthorized access will never occur. Contact us promptly if you believe your account or a sharing link has been compromised.

11. Your rights

Subject to applicable law and its requirements and exceptions, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, as well as information about how Inkybard processes it. Other rights provided by law may also be exercised when applicable.

Send requests to privacy@inkybard.com. We may request information needed to confirm your identity and protect your account. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority.

12. Children and teenagers

Inkybard is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. You must be at least 13 to use it. Where local law requires a higher age to consent to online data processing, including 16 in certain European jurisdictions, that higher age applies unless valid authorization is provided by a parent or legal guardian.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child contrary to applicable law, we will take appropriate steps, which may include deleting the information and closing the account.

13. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy to reflect legal, operational, or product changes. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means before they take effect when required. The date above identifies the current version.
